Mine: What a great and informative book about armadillos. Their armor plating is actually bones. They give birth to 4 babies at a time (ouch!). It takes about 4 weeks for the babies to acquire their armor. Who knew they could swim – they can hold their breath for up to 6 minutes. (wow). There are 20 different species of armadillos

Mine
This is a wonderfully illuistrated book of ABCs. I have to admit I always like to see a frog for F (they had a fishy) and I think it was creative to use Jellyfish, Newt, Octopus, Pumpkin things that aren’t usually used. The colorful items that go with the letters make it a great book to share together.

Mine
This is a nice illuistrated book of ABCs. I have to admit I always like to see a frog for F (they had a ferret) and I think it was creative to use fox for X. X is always difficult for any alphabet.

Busy Machines have lots of work to do, on the building site, at the farm and around the town. This book teaches toddlers and young children all about the Busy Machines and their drivers using bright colorful illustrations and simple clear text. At the end of the book there's a mix and match quiz for the reader to test what they've learnt.

Mine:
This is definitely a “First Learners” book, but is wonderfully illustrated by author himself. It is English since one of the “machines” is a Lorry. This is a great book showing what big machines can do. It’s nice to see a woman driving the digger and bulldozer. The matching quiz at the end is fun.
